Livernois Consulting, Batavia, IL, 8/90 - PresentConsult primarily to large, multinational companies to plan, design, develop, and evaluate training and non-training solutions to performance problems. Experiences include:
- Consulted to the Society of Actuaries to develop eight web-based education modules for their Fundamentals of Actuarial Practice Course and eight web-based education modules for their Fellow of the Society of Actuaries program. This multi-year project included all planning, design, development, and implementation of the programs. Wrote major sections of key modules. Partnered with associates to develop a customized learning management system. Advised on and helped to develop each program’s assessment approach. Planned and created “audiocasts” integrated throughout the education. Also developed “e-Courses” for the organization’s Continuing Professional Development offerings.
- Planned, designed and developed a Spanish as a Second Language web-based training program for McDonald's Corporation intended for restaurant managers.
- Consulted to Toys “R” Us Corporation to create a new global learning plan. Identified skill profiles that drive the development of all operations personnel. Developed comprehensive curriculum plan with clearly-defined paths to obtain core skills and knowledge.
- Worked with McDonald’s to design and develop three prototype courses integrating multimedia into a web-based delivery strategy for the company’s e-Learning initiative to.
- Consulted to McDonald’s to redesign and develop new modules for McDonald’s Interactive Training, a comprehensive computer-based crew training program in 3,000 restaurants. Worked with the company’s e-Learning initiative to design and develop three prototype courses integrating multimedia into a web-based delivery strategy.
- Developed various training products for McDonald's Training, Learning, & Development department, Facilities and Systems department, and Worldwide Operations.
- Worked with Arthur Andersen’s Business Consulting practice to develop a comprehensive training curriculum for Change Enablement practitioners. Planned, designed, developed, and evaluated two "core" curriculum courses, Enabling Change I and Enabling Change II.
- Consulted to Andersen Consulting's (now Accenture’s) Business Process Management practice to develop two relationship-selling courses: Selling Through Relationship Management and Managing Senior Client Relationships.
- Designed and developed Allstate Insurance Company's Unlicensed Support Staff Education, a one-hour facilitator-led course intended to communicate compliance issues to Agents surrounding authorized and unauthorized activities that can be performed by Unlicensed Support Staff.
- Consulted to Allstate’s Human Resources department to develop and implement its corporate-wide recruitment and selection process. Designed and developed the Allstate Recruitment & Selection Process Handbook, which documents the process phases, steps, and tasks and provides comprehensive job aids and tools. Planned, designed, and developed the Allstate Recruitment & Selection Workshop, a three-day facilitator-led course for Human Resources personnel.
- Consulted to Allstate’s Human Resources department to design and develop its Recruiting the Exclusive Agent: Allstate Agency Manager Fieldbook.
- Planned, designed, developed, and evaluated MCM Work Plan & Success Track course for Allstate’s Market Claim Managers. This five-day, facilitator-led course was developed to help participants improve each of 40 performance measures using job aids, root-cause analysis, and an integrated project management approach.
- Planned, designed, developed, and evaluated Leadership Overview for Executives, a one-day, facilitator-led course for executives highlighting key leadership principles presented throughout Baxter Healthcare’s Leadership Curriculum. Also planned, designed, and developed Leadership Essentials, a three-day, facilitator-led course for Baxter managers that employed classroom and experienced-based learning activities (i.e., outdoor adventuring).
- Helped research and develop Arthur Andersen’s Performance Measurement methodology for internal consultants to sell and implement Performance Measurement engagements. Helped research and outline the book, Vital Signs: Using Quality, Time, and Cost Performance Measurements to Chart Your Company’s Future (AMACOM; ISBN: 0814450733) authored by Arthur Andersen partner Steve Hronec.
- Developed several instructional and non-instructional products for Arthur Andersen’s Quality Management Services practice including a tool to assess leadership’s commitment to total quality management efforts; designed and developed several client training programs and helped develop Arthur Andersen’s Quality Framework; also planned, designed, developed, and evaluated Arthur Andersen’s client performance measurement training for Northrop Corporation.
